Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math or Science to K-12 students.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create personalized lesson plans and strategies.

  • Maintain clear and open communication with students, parents, and the company regarding progress and challenges.

  • Create an engaging, supportive, and adaptive learning environment to meet diverse learning styles.

  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Experience working with students with learning differences or executive functioning challenges.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in tailoring teaching strategies to individual needs.

  • Experience using online tutoring platforms or educational technology tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be available AT LEAST 2 evenings per week.

  • Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Math, Science, Education, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in middle and high school subjects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A quiet workspace for online tutoring with high speed internet access or reliable transportation for in-home sessions.
